Note(s): When phenylalanine interacts with the TyrR protein, a dimer of this protein binds to a strong TyrR box located 64.5 bp upstream of the tyrPp1 promoter and activates the transcription of the tyrP gene Yang J,2004 It has been shown that the C-terminal domain of the RNA polymerase is involved in the activation of the tyrPp1 promoter by theTyrR protein Lawley B,1995
