In spite of showing a match to the consensus CRP, cspB, cspG, and cspI are regulated indirectly by CRP-cAMP during growth at 37oC as well as 15oC 25637299 It is probable that putative sites in these genes have become degenerate and have lost the binding function during the evolutionary process 25637299 The mRNA produced by the cspG gene has been observed mainly in the poles of the cell 31540875. |
