Transcription
Factor
Name: Name of the transcription
factor -TF
Synonym(s):Alternative names
that identify the same transcription factor.
Gene name(s): Names of genes producing the transcription
factor.
Conformation(s):
Active binding
conformation of the transcription factor.
Coregulator(s):Other transcription factors that are regulating
different promoters with the TF.
Regulation
exerted by Name of the
regulon simple or complex.
Each regulon is
grouped in functional sets according with the function of the TF on the
promoter. Each group displays information related to the regulatory
interaction (interaction between the conformation of the TF, the
promoter, the bindig site and genes).
Transcription Factor Conformation:
Active binding
conformation of the transcription factor.
Transcription
Factor Function: The effect of the TF on the promoter
[activator, repressor, dual, unknown].
Regulated Promoter: Name of the regulated promoter.
Regulated
Gene(s): Names of the regulated genes.
Binding Site LeftPos:
Start absolute position in the genome of the TF binding site.
Binding Site
RightPos: Start absolute position in the genome of the TF
binding site.
Central Rel-Pos: Distance from +1 of the promoter to the center
position of the binding site.
Binding Site Sequence: DNA Sequence of the binding site. The
uppercases are the experimental site and the10 lowercases in each side
are the boundaries.
Evidence: Experimental or
computational methods that support
information about a regulatory interaction.
Reference(s): Original
literature source in which a regulatory interaction (TF, promoter,
function)
was identified.
